Vidya Chethana day 25

Vidya Chethana - Day 25 Lesson Plan

Vidya Chethana Curriculum

Daily Execution Plan • Day 25

👑
Period 1: Greeting & Birthday Conversation
Objective: Encourage punctuality, build positive reinforcement, and improve expressive vocabulary.
  • Punctuality Motivation: Welcome the very first child arriving at school by placing a specially crafted paper crown on their head, motivating all children to arrive on time.
  • Activity (On My Birthday):
    • Have all children sit comfortably in a wide circle.
    • Place a curated list of birthday-themed objects or items in the center of the circle.
    • Ask a child to choose one object, name it clearly, and guide them with questions to gather their personal opinions and thoughts about it.
🧩
Period 2: My Time (Learning Corners)
Objective: Cultivate independent choice, individual exploration, and creative autonomy.
  • Choice Allocation: Children independently move to the various active learning corners based on their personal interests.
  • Execution: They freely perform the tasks and activities they enjoy.
  • Teacher's Role: Actively monitor the space as a compliance index, ensuring orderly conduct, security, and guidance where necessary.
🔢
Period 3: Basic Numerical Knowledge (Backward Counting)
Objective: Develop cognitive flexibility through systematic forward and backward numeric processing.
  • Object Sequencing: Neatly arrange 9 selected objects in a row. Instruct the children to count them sequentially from 1 to 9.
  • Flash Strips Counting: Hand out numeric "lightning flash strips" numbered 1 to 9. Guide the children to arrange them in order and practice counting backward from 9 to 1.
  • Fluency Drills: Run multiple interactive cycles practicing both forward and backward counting methods with the group.
Period 4: Creative Arts (Sand Writing & Tactile Tracing)
Objective: Enhance fine motor controls, sensory writing retention, and sight-word associations.
  • Sand Tracing: Have the children write out simple English words they are familiar with directly into shallow trays of sand.
  • Tactile Placement: Instruct them to meticulously place small stones, sticks, beads, or seeds directly along the traced lines of the sand-written letters.
  • Sensory Integration: Encourage children to feel the texture of the words they have decorated.
🔤
Period 5: Language Development (Identify the Middle Letter)
Objective: Phonological segmentation, vowel recognition, and grapheme-phoneme matching.
  • Vowel Introduction: Display target words written on clear flashcards. Sit in a circle and introduce basic vowel concepts to the group.
  • Middle Letter Hunt: Teach children how to isolate and identify the specific letter located exactly in the middle of a short word.
  • Blackboard Correlation: Write down the words identified and spelled out by the children on the blackboard, helping them actively match letters to their correct phonetic sounds.
🧘
Period 6: Outdoor Games / Hall Activity (Static Equilibrium)
Objective: Spatial awareness, muscular relaxation, and uniform physical balance control.
  • Setup: Conduct this sensory-motor activity inside the classroom hall. Roll out carpets or mats, giving each child ample personal space to move safely.
  • Supine Position: Instruct the children to lie down perfectly flat on their backs on the mats, maintaining calm, static stability.
  • Prone Transition: After a few quiet moments, instruct them to smoothly roll over and sleep safely on their stomachs to practice comprehensive full-body awareness.
📖
Period 7: Story Time (The Camel and the Fox)
Objective: Foster auditory focus, narrative comprehension, and emotional reasoning.
  • Teacher Preparation: The teacher reads and thoroughly comprehends the nuances of "The Camel and the Fox" story prior to delivery.
  • Expressive Delivery: Narrate the story in a simple, highly accessible language structure using lively body movements and facial expressions.
  • Interactive Circle: Sit closely in a circle with the children on their level, periodically pausing to interpret the moral values by asking targeted, simple questions.
👋
Period 8: See You Again
Objective: Consolidate classroom achievements, encourage family sharing, and create positive leave-taking.
  • Daily Recapitulation: Run through a quick, dynamic verbal review of all activities performed today (Birthday items, backward counting, sand writing, middle letters, and story tracking).
  • Home Linking: Explicitly inspire the children to describe their favorite interactive games and creative sand tasks with their parents and siblings at home.
  • Happy Farewell: Design a warm, small joyful routine (such as a unified chant or signature wave) ensuring they leave happily and look forward to returning tomorrow. Say goodbye!
