Activity 1

Repeat the greeting exchange activity of the previous day Activity 2: Grandma says

Make the children stand in a circle and give clear instructions.

When the teacher says “Grandma brought your toothbrush”, the children should act like brushing their teeth.

When teachers say "comb your hair" or ``brush your teeth'' instead of saying ``Grandma says'' Children should not comply with it. If they comply, they will stay out of the activity.

Children move to the learning corners and perform the activities whatever they want to perform. Teachers act as Instructors.


 *Period:4* 

Creative arts

Ability: Comparison, matching, categorization, size/proportion concept and environmental awareness. Activity: Let's compare

Objective:- To compare based on size and quantity.

Materials needed: Pencils, scales, fruits (apples, oranges), vegetables (potatoes / onions), utensils (spoon, bowls, plates), other objects of different sizes.

Method: A simple comparison task is done using pencils, fruits, vegetables and other available materials.

Compare based on size and quantity. Ask children to choose the largest object in group A, the tallest boy in group A, and the longest stick/chalk piece based on size.

The comparison should be with objects of the same type. A comparison activity should not be conducted in a mixed group. Eg: A rectangular object should not be compared with a circular object or a ball with an apple.

*Similarly, comparing quantity means comparing which group of similar objects has more objects.

 Language development


Strength: Development of fine muscular power and development of creativity. Activity: Drawing on a slate or board

Objectives: • To develop the skill of holding a pencil on a slate.

To develop writing and drawing and colouring skills. material; Slate/Board, chalk piece.

Method: Give a board and a coloured chalk piece and ask them to draw different shapes and pictures. They can write pictures of their choice. Teachers should not force them to write any picture according to their opinion. Ask the children to draw a picture of their choice and fill it with the colour of their

choice.

 Outdoor games


Activity : Rolling

Strength: Gross muscle motor skill development Materials required: Ring

Method: Draw a straight line on the ground.

Instruct the children to take turns holding the ring in their hands and rolling it over the line.


 *Period:7*

 Story time


→ Title : Tenali Ramakrishna and the pot

→ Materials : Stick figures

Objectives: To develop thinking power

→ To create a questioning attitude.

→ To enhance predictive skills.

→ To develop interest in collecting pictures related to the story. Method: Stick pictures

→ Making story time fun using stick figures. Collaborate to role-play using students.

Ask simple questions after telling the story.

Why did the king tell Tenalirama to leave without showing his face?
